How I Use CoSchedule in My Businesses!

Hi friends!

Today’s post is geared towards other small business owners that are looking for a platform to help them organize all their blog, social media, and email list promotion in one place! I wear a lot of hats in my businesses of wedding photography, photo booths, food blog, and a few other secret projects. The ONLY way I’m able to balance everything is to stay organized and have a solid workflow from start to finish.

I recently discovered CoSchedule after searching for an online calendar organizer and absolutely love the platform! It’s a game changer when it comes to managing my businesses and I already can’t imagine being able to stay on top of things without it! I’m a small business owner to the max and I’m simultaneously the president of my company, managing the big deals, as well as working on the little everyday tasks that need to get done to keep everything afloat. CoSchedule is the virtual assistant I desperately need at a fraction of the cost it would take to hire someone!

CoSchedule personally helps me out in two main ways: planning my blog content and managing my social media. With two seperate blogs, it can be so challenging to stay on top of getting posts scheduled on a bi-weekly basis for each site. Seriously, that in itself could be a full time job! I need to write up the posts, photograph/edit/insert images, do SEO for each blog, schedule them to go live, and promote them to my social platforms as well as as other sites. Making sure I finish each step for four blog posts a week can be overwhelming unless I have a step-by-step process. With CoSchedule, I’m able to create a content calendar where I can see my entire month’s worth of posts as well as create templates with check mark boxes to ensure I’m not missing any vital steps to my workflow.Along with being an interactive calendar, the platform also basically acts as my social media manager. I’m able to plan out my Instagram and Facebook posts and CoSchedule will either send me a notification when it’s time for me to hit publish or, when it comes to Facebook, they auto-publish to my business pages for me! I feel like I’m constantly juggling a million different tasks since I own several businesses, so being able to bulk schedule my social media posts has been absolutely key in helping me stay active and not dropping the ball!

The platform is able to eliminate the guesswork when it comes to the best time to share my posts and analyzes when to share to social media based on when they’ll get maximum coverage and engagement. This feature was so interesting for me because, as it turns out, even the optimized timing on when to post on Facebook versus Instagram seems to be different! I LOVE that I don’t have to try to figure out the algorithms myself and can instead focus on producing quaility images and messages that help move my businesses forward :). A huge number of my brides find me from Instagram, so staying consistent with my posting and sharing my photos on a daily basis is my top form of advertising. You’re able to track your social performance across multiple profiles so you know what’s working and what isn’t. I love numbers and being able to see the analytics behind my social media, so having everything on one platform is amazing!

Check out CoSchedule for yourself! I was hooked after I took their free trial and am SUPER excited to share the site with all of you guys!
