Carol and Justin’s South Coast Botanic Gardens wedding was not only my most local of the year, but also one of my favorites! I knew their day was going to be a BLAST after meeting them at their engagement session and having the best time hangout out, laughing, and bonding over our shared love of Mexican food 😉. I literally felt like I had been friends with Carol + her bridesmaids for years and wish I could have partied the night away with them because they just looked like they were having the BEST time ever haha!
The Botanic Gardens were blooming and beautiful the day of their wedding and the weather was perfect. We could not have asked for a better day!
Here’s a little tidbit of their love story straight from the bride herself!
We were set up on a blind date by our two best friends who were also dating eight years ago! I was still in high school but Justin had graduated two years before. We went bowling and ice skating all in one night and Justin asked to hold my hand while we were skating and they were super rough (literal man hands lol). I pulled away and he has not let me live it down to. this. day. Then, for our first real one on one date, we went to K1 Speed and he bet me that if he won that he would get to kiss me and I said “what if I win” and he just laughed. Is that not the most high school thing you’ve ever heard?! Wellllll it was totally rigged cause I’m not even bad at go karts and he lapped me twice! Long story short, we dated throughout me in college living in Colorado, Justin traveling to Australia for work for a month, and me studying abroad in Scotland for four months! I moved back home after college and we moved in together and he proposed in Zion National Park, one of our favorite and most beautiful places!
THE CUTEST!! Here are some of my favorites from their wedding!
